Why is the price this low?
You're early, and that's the deal. Our first partners get our lowest pricing in exchange for honest feedback and a reference once DocVault is earning its keep. That rate is locked in for your first 12 months, even as prices rise for new customers, then moves to our standard pricing at renewal.
What counts as a seat?
A seat is a member of your team: anyone who reviews documents, manages rooms, or messages clients. Your clients never need a seat. Uploading documents into a room you invite them to is always free for them.
Can I change my seat count later?
Yes. You pick a seat count at checkout and can add seats as your team grows. Billing prorates automatically through Stripe.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Card payment through Stripe, billed monthly. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the billing period. No long-term contract required.
How is my clients' data protected?
Every document is encrypted at rest with a key dedicated to your workspace (AWS KMS, AES-256, HSM-backed). Rooms are invite-only, access is revocable instantly, and every action lands in an append-only audit log.
